Turkish citizens were reportedly setting their PCs and mobile devices to use Google public DNS IP addresses, 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4., to slip past the country's ban on Twitter.  DNS server tells your computer the address of a server it’s looking for, in the same way that you might look up a phone number in a phone book.“

Legal Issues Between Aereo and Broadcasters

The legal battle between internet Television Startup Aereo and main broadcasters, the DOJ advanced its opposition against TV streaming/DVR service Aereo. The Government’s Department of justice has filed a report in Supreme Court hearing that Aereo violated all the copyright rules and regulations of broadcasters. The report was to withdraw the decision that lower court make in Aereo’s favor. Company has fighting this case with broadcasters in entire country including NYC, Boston and Utah and most of them have won by Aereo. Now Broadcasters filed the report in Supreme Court and this will be a final hearing could end the case. The problem occurs when broadcasters find Aereo stealing the frequencies out of the air and showing them to customers illegally. But firm’s put an extra antenna above the TV each user can record the shows. Broadcasters have constantly losses the cases.
Aerero given an explanationLast December, we decided to not oppose the broadcasters’ petition for certiorari before the United States Supreme Court. Today, we filed our response brief setting forth the basis for our steadfast conviction that Aereo’s cloud-based antenna and DVR technology falls squarely within the law. We have every confidence that the Court will validate and preserve a consumer’s right to access local over-the-air television using an individual antenna, make a personal recording with a DVR, and watch that recording on a device of their choice.
Companies like Orange can cheat theirusers but Aereo is not a fraud as broadcasters submitted the report with all the accusations but something is wrong which is firm’s technology does not able to send anything from the board with user login, enable the antenna and tune it to any frequency. Antenna then makes its own steam which transmits to DVR and back to consumer.

The incident was investigated by Le Monde; the DGSE was having all access to Orange’s data. Orange in the leading telecom company in France with more than 25 Million users and clients these users are communicating with several thousands of non Orange clients. Each and every one in country is concerned about the matter and no statement has come out from the French government. No regulation has say in this relationship between Orange and agencies and the data was shared with GCHQ in the UK too. The state owns 27 percent of the company but Orange has operated as private for years but when it comes to bulk collection it still works as state owned.

TechCrunch Said “Orange employees help the DGSE create and develop new tools to collect and analyze data. Contrarily to PRISM, it’s not just an agreement between the government and big Internet companies, it’s an implicit “joint venture” that has been going on for around 30 years. Both the government and the DGSE had no comment on the allegations. Orange CEO Stéphane Richard said that he wasn’t aware of what the DGSE was doing. He just granted access to Orange for employees of the DGSE in order to comply with the law. The three other main telecom companies denied the existence of similar programs with them.

Last year, Le Monde found that French government has PRISM like spying program, which is specially design to collect bulk data like call history, recipient, Size of the text Emails subjects and other Mata data. This program was also design to target communication on phone, emails and data from Tech companies like Google, Facebook, Apple, and Microsoft.

Flypay Raises £1M To Make Settling Your Restaurant Bill

Flypay, a UK based startup whose app wants to make the settling the restaurants food bill “waiter-free” and speedup the process. Company says to never mind poor service or food but the true experience is actually paying the bill at the end of the meal is a pain point for restaurant market. At the firm’s official launch today, announcing the £1 million funding from Mobile Payment specialist Entreé and £150,000 seed that they raised from unknown source last year. This new capital will be used to scale its technology and marketing division for example partnering with multiple restaurants in UK and make its way to tech industry.

Flypay says “For restaurant operators, the advantages are two-fold. First, of course, the process of settling a bill doesn’t tie up a waiter, who can continue serving other customers instead of faffing around with chip ‘n’ pin. In fact, Flypay reckons it currently takes an average three visits by a waiter to enable a customer to settle their bill. And, by app-ifying this process, there’s an additional payoff. The startup is able to offer in-app customer loyalty a scheme in which Flypay integrates with restaurant marketing and CRM systems to potentially provide rewards and discounts for a restaurant’s most valued customers or to entice repeat visitors.”

The app is available for iPhone and android phones so question is how does this work??---usually it takes us 10 minutes to clear the bill but with this app we can do this within seconds, you can simply scan a on-table QR code/NFC tag to first call the bill, they using the app, you can check out the bill entries and pay with credit or debit card, you can share the paying with others at your table with spiriting the bill equally. So that’s how it all work they wanted to make it more simple and easy with adding more features.

President Obama Defends NSA Director Says “He Should Have Been Careful”

US president Obama sensitively defended the Director of Intelligence James Clapper, accused of lying to Congress about the NSA’s Spying program. President said last Friday that Clapper should have been more careful because when he was in the meeting with the Senate panel, he was denying to collecting Information of millions of people around the world. As of NSA was being accused of spying of people and due to this it totally vanished the reputation in the industry. Clapper already apologized to Senate panel for his “clearly erroneous” statement. The apology that clapper made, is not stopping critics like Sen Rand Paul demanding his resignation from the post. No matter how much he deny, not having any program but it has proved by the NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden. The documents that he shows last year are the proof of NSA Scandals, like paying RSA to backdoor the encryption method.

Obama SaidI think that Jim Clapper himself would acknowledge, and has acknowledged, that he should have been more careful about how he responded, the president told CNN’s Jake Tapper. His concern was that he had a classified program that he couldn’t talk about and he was in an open hearing in which he was asked, he was prompted to disclose a program, and so he felt that he was caught between a rock and a hard place. What's clear is that we are going to have to do a better job of being transparent about what we do, to have a robust public debate about what we do.

Support to put Clapper on a trial is getting messy, which will totally ruin the environment to pass any congressional sections. This will not be good legacy to future intelligence agencies, that they will make any statement they want because they know they wouldn't get caught

Here is the video of his clerification
