This time,
Kremlin complex located in the city of Moscow in Russia is expecting to restore
its national pride in the country by creating a new agency for promoting patriotism.
The agency is one of the essential parts of presidential administration.
Kremlin’s website has revealed that the new agency will play a leading role in
enhancing the strength of moral and spiritual foundations related with society
of Russia. In addition, new agency will take some essential steps towards
improvement of government policies related with patriotic education.
On 20th
of October, Vladimir Putin, President of Russia and Social Projects Directorate
have formally given the order to create new agency in Kremlin complex of
Russia. The initiative has highlighted mixed reactions in front of the public.
This is because; critics have dismissed the new scheme by saying that the new scheme
is one of the Soviet style-schemes, aimed at power base of Kremlin. The critics
have further highlighted that the scheme is concerned with consolidation of
power base of Kremlin.
On the other
hand, Nikolai
Petrov, one of the political analysts belong to Carnegie Center of Moscow City opined,
“As one of the antidote to political opposition, Kremlin is using some
excellent ideas and counting over quiet as well as archaic masses, who do not
want any change. Because of this reason only, newly created agency will deal
mainly with some of the ideological issues.”
