Bill Gates Microsoft’s new Technology Adviser

Along with new CEO another big change in the executive ranks is: Bill gates the former CEO and cofounder of company is leaving his post as chair person of the board and taking a new post as “Founder and Technology Advisor”, company commented these changes as “Step up”, which involved gates more in the company. Microsoft, the giant system software and CRM integration software’s developer and seller, is appointing John Thompson as a new chair person of board. Firms noted that gate will dedicate more to company, guiding Nadella in shaping the technology and productions and he will remain as part of the board directors.

Microsoft’s innovation towards the technology can be evaluated by putting the emotion detection technology into xbox game play and the new tablet surface 2. Gates this move is not very promising for those who watching him lead the company. The involvement of gates is at least 1 day in a week at office with less administrative work.

Firm said in the official Blog “under Gates' leadership, Microsoft's mission has been to continually advance and improve software technology, and to make it easier, more cost-effective and more enjoyable for people to use computers. The company is committed to a long-term view, reflected in its industry-leading investment in research and development. Gates transitioned out of a day-to-day role in the company to spend more time on his global health and education work at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.”

The thing which is not clear is whether Gates new post is the result of the pressure toremove him from the chair person post or his interest towards the strategic involvementin organization. For past few years, Gates has provided his time, effort and money into philanthropic work and medical technology.
